SRINAGAR, FEB 01 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that in order to strengthen the agricultural sector in the country, several provisions have been made in the budget to increase the income of farmers, with the help of Agriculture Infrastructure Fund to strengthen APMC.
He said, “All these decisions show that there is a village in the heart of the budget, we are farmers.”
On the general budget presented in Parliament today, he said, “This budget has been presented amidst extraordinary circumstances”.
He said that “Today’s budget is going to highlight India’s confidence, the budget also has a vision of self-sufficiency and inclusion of every citizen and every class.”
Modi said that “this budget is particularly focused on those sectors which will increase wealth and wellness at a fast pace”.
“This is a big step towards making India’s Kerala, Bengal, Tamil Nadu and coastal states a business powerhouse. This budget will go a long way in tapping the unexplored potentials of a northeastern state like Assam. The provisions made to the youth You will get strength. Work has also been done in the budget to make the life of women easier.
