Team-Pulwama deserves highest level of applauds for helping people in tough times: Altaf Thakur

Srinagar, Jan 08 : Expresses gratitude to DC, ADC Tral, SSPAwantipora ExensTral ‘Awantipora Tehsildars, lower rung workers for timely intervention amid heavy snowfall Srinagar, Jan 06 (KNO): Bhartiya Janata Party (JK) Spokesman Altaf Thakur expressed his gratitude to Team-Pulawama comprising Deputy Commissioner, ADC, SSP, Exens, and Tehsildar for exemplary work in times of snow fury that includes timely clearance of all major, link roads, lanes and by-lanes of the district including Tral, restoration of power supply, providing aid to the needy patients and conduct large scale rescue and relief operations in the district. In a statement issued to PTK, Thakur said that no one has a control over nature but timely intervention can save lines, and raise the morale of people to face the natural calamities like heavy snowfall in south Kashmir’s districts including Pulwama. “Team Pulwama that includes DC, ADCTral, SSP,Awantipora Exens, Tehsildar and other lower-rung workers worked like a unit and ensure timely snow clearance from all major, link, interior roads including lanes and by-lanes,” Thakur said. He said that people of Tral and other areas of Pulwama district have also hailed the efforts put in by the officials of district administration along with the police in providing  relief to the people in times of snow fury. 
“Executive Engineers of PDD,  PMGSY, PHE and R&B and DO Aripal, besides other officials including AEEs, worked round the clock to ensure restoration of power, water supplies and road clearance in the area,” Thakur said and hoped that the team Pulwama will continue to work towards resolution of peoples issues in times of weather vagaries other natural challenges.
