Either deport us back or provide us travel documents

SRINAGAR, FEB 23 : Pakistan origin Kashmiri brides on tuesday asked authorities to either deport us back or provide us travel documents so that they can visit their residences.
They while taking a protest rally from press colony srinagar to Ganta Ghar lal chowk said that they will continue their struggle to press their demands
They said that there are around 400 Pakistan orgin wives besides 3 thousand children and authorities must come clear to either deport us or provide us travel documents.
We have been watching the funerals of our loved ones on video calls and haven’t met our family members since years and we want the government of India to allow us to return home to meet our dear ones there, they said.
We came here on your voice and now you aren’t accepting us and if we were criminals and had come here illegally, you should have punished us and deported us that very time then why you allowed us to stay here, they said while requesting the government of India and government of Pakistan to take this issue on humanitarian ground.
You all must think that through what conditions we are going when our loved ones are dying in Pakistan and we aren’t able to take part in their last rites, they said.
They added that several among us have already lost their husband or got divorced, where they will go if you won’t allow them to return.
If our husbands are Indian, then why not their children and wives, they said while requesting government that if you don’t accept us citizens of India then it makes no sense for the authorities to stop us from deporting back to our residential places.
We have knocked almost all the doors but don’t know why our voices go unheard, they said.
They requested all organizations who are working for women and children besides United Nations to help us in returning back to Pakistan.
