Srinagar, Jan 28 : PDP President and former Chief Minister on Thursday hold a meeting with leaders of Jammu division at PDP office in Ghandi Nagar Jammu.
Sources said that she will meet party workers as well as leaders of different district during her one week visit to Jammu division.
It is pertinent to mention here that more than a month after the results of the first District Development Council (DDC) election results were announced, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti arrived in Jammu on Wednesday to meet senior party leaders and chalk out a future strategy. She will spend about a week in Jammu.
The DDC elections in Jammu and Kashmir were held in November and December and counting of votes were undertaken on December 23. The results gave cheers to both the main contenders, the BJP and the seven-party People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD or the Gupkar Alliance) led by National Conference (NC) chief Farooq Abdullah.

The General Administration Department reinstated three officers who were on deputation to Ladakh.
As per the order, the then CPO Reasi Kamal Kumar Sharma, the then CPO RajouriShama-un-Ahmad, and the then Junior Engineer Hydraulic, Ramban were under orders of deputation to Ladakh. An official said that these officials were deputed to Ladakh but they failed to join duties there following which they were suspended but were reinstated on Wednesday.
