Death toll rises 2458 with thirty seven new deaths
Srinagar, May 03 : Jammu and Kashmir today reported highest ever daily spike of 4650 fresh positive cases of COVID, and thirty seven new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 191869.
These cases include 1463 from Jammu division and 3178 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.
The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports twelve new deaths, while Jammu division reports twenty five new deaths, taking the death toll to 2458 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 1311 cases were reported from Srinagar, 352 from Baramulla, 386 from Budgam, 240 from Pulwama, 96 from Kupwara, 417 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 107, Ganderbal 31, Kulgam 162, Shopian 85, Jammu 598, Udhampur 220, Rajouri 205, Doda 81, Kathua 134, Samba 50, Kishtwar 15, Poonch 72, Ramban 49 and Reasi 39.
Moreover, they said, 1878 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 631 from Jammu division and 1247 from Kashmir division.
They further said, out of 37 deaths, 10 died in GMC Jammu, 03 in GMC Rajouri, 01 in GMC Doda, 02 in CD Hospital Jammu, 01 in CIMS Jhalandar, 01 in KCGMC Karnal, 01 in SDH Mendhar, 01 in SMVDNH, Katra, 05 Home (Brought Dead), 02 in CD Hospital Srinagar, 01 in SKIMS Soura, 04 in SMHS Srinagar, 01 in CHC Sopore, 02 in DH Pulwama, 01 in JLNM Srinagar and 01 in SKIMS Bemina.
