A fire broke out in the cash counting center of Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu.
According to the official statement of the temple board, the fire was brought under control by 4:25 pm. No one has been injured in this accident nor has there been any obstruction in Vaishno Devi Yatra.
Temple Board CEO Ramesh Kumar told the BBC, “After the fire, local police teams, fire bread teams and temple staff quickly brought it under control.”
There was no stampede like situation in the temple and no untoward incident took place.
Amidst the restrictions in the Corona epidemic, on an average 1000-2000 devotees visit Vaishno temple every day these days.
