Congress accepts resignation of K.K.Amla as Treasurer

Srinagar Feb. 19 : The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has accepted the resignation of K.K. Amla as Treasurer “on his wish” and appreciated his selfless services and great contributions towards the party”.
The Party also appreciated the services of other family members, saying that the entire Amla family have worked tirelessly, with great enthusiasm for the party.
The rank and file of the Party have commended the selfless services and great contributions of Shri. K.K.Amla, who served the Party in different capacities, his dedication and allegiance towards the party were immense.
The vision and vast experience of K.K. Amla in politics shall continue to guide and inspire the Congress leaders and workers.
Shri. Amla tendered his resignation as Treasurer of the Party given his personal issues, though the Party found it difficult, but keeping inview his (Amla’s) wish the party had no option other than to accept his resignation as Treasurer.
The role played by Shri. Amla in the party all along his life is really admiring, he is a man of principles, Congress Party will never forget his sincerity and commitment, JKPCC said.
JKPCC hopes that Senior Congress Leader Shri. Amla will continue to guide the party with his valuable suggestions, from time to time, besides he will continue to remain as a respected senior leader of the Party, JKPCC added and wished Amla a very good health and long life
