Eyewitnesses said that the protesting people blocked the road leading to Achan dumping site by erecting barricades to stop SMC vehicles carrying waste.

The protesters, raising slogans like “we want Justice”  alleged the government that they failed to take steps that could control foul our emanating from the dumping site.
