Pakistan-administered-Kashmir resident arrested for crossing LoC in Poonch

A resident of Pakistan-administered-Kashmir (PaK) was arrested after he crossed the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, an official said today.

He said the army apprehended Umeer Yousuf (23) of Narwal village of Hajira tehsil from Ranghar nala near Kunjan post after he had crossed the LoC on Tuesday.

An ID card has Rs 50 PaK currency was recovered from his possession, he said, adding that he was handed over to the police. “He is being questioned,” said the official.
